Job Summary
Join a dedicated team of Registered Nurses on a Medical Surgical unit in Newport, Oregon. This unit specializes in providing high-standard professional care to acutely ill adult patients, including those requiring emergent and elective surgical interventions.
As a Medical Surgical RN, you will manage a diverse patient population, focusing on comprehensive care, post-operative recovery, and medical stabilization within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for acutely ill adult medical and surgical patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse assistants, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Licensing Requirements
