Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Healthcare Provider Level AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in caring for acutely ill adult patients.
- Experience with pre-operative and post-operative surgical patient management.
- Ability to manage care for both emergent and elective surgical cases.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Competence in administering medications and treatments.
- Adherence to Basic Life Support (BLS) protocols.
- Ability to perform NIH Stroke Scale assessments.
