Description:
Position specialty is Medical Surgical Registered Nurse.
Shift consists of three 12-hour days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Holidays will be required, including Thanksgiving and potentially Christmas or Christmas Eve based on unit needs.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6.
The unit has 54 beds.
Every other weekend is required.
Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be necessary.
First-time travelers are accepted.
IV start skills are essential.
Telemetry management experience is preferred.
Traveling nurses should be aware that during hurricane season, they may be assigned to emergency response teams.
The facility allows for the cancellation of one shift every two weeks.
Travelers must ensure they do not have planned time off that would affect compliance before starting.
Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Candidates must have the South Carolina license in hand prior to starting.
Experience with a variety of medical/surgical procedures and patient care is required.
Care will be provided for adult and geriatric patient populations.
The daily census is approximately 24.
