Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and ECG telemetry as part of routine patient assessment
  • Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations
  • Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency and module requirements as directed by the facility
Required Qualifications
  • Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license - must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
  • AHA BLS certification - must be active and in hand at time of submission
  • ACLS certification - must be active and in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum of 18 months permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry
  • One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment within the past 12 months - co-worker references will not be accepted
  • No open background or license hits; all background findings are subject to facility review
  • Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience within a single Med/Surg Telemetry location preferred, though not required
  • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • Prior travel nursing experience within a large health system environment
