Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
- Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements as applicable
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA BLS certification required - must be active and in hand at time of submission
- AHA ACLS certification required - must be active and in hand at time of submission
- One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required
- No open background case hits or license hits; background findings are reviewed by the facility on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience within a single Med/Surg Telemetry location preferred, though combined experience across locations may be considered
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation in an acute care environment
- Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated compliance in high-volume health systems
