Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required facility orientation modules, assessments, and annual competency requirements as directed
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license must be in hand at time of submission - no pending licenses accepted
- Active AHA BLS certification required - must be in hand at time of submission
- Active ACLS certification required - must be in hand at time of submission
- One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months is required (co-worker references are not accepted)
- Local candidates are welcome and will be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience gained within a single facility or location is preferred, though not required
- Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessment processes
- Prior travel nursing experience within a large health system environment
