Patients have telemetry only if ordered. Telemetry is monitored 24/7. IV drips include Dopamine at a constant rate with no titration for renal profusion. Heparin patients are admitted. The unit accommodates maximum stable ventilator patients. Bipap patients are also admitted. The unit deals with acute and chronic renal failure cases and dialysis. Fluid overload medical/surgical patients are included. The team comprises Internal Medicine physicians, Family Practice, and Clientist overflow. Cancellation policy: Client may cancel up to 2 shifts per assignment less than 13 weeks without penalty and up to 3 shifts per assignment of 13 weeks or longer. Charting system utilized is Cerner.
