Unit Notes:
Local candidates will not be accepted if they live under 50 miles away.
Candidates who live between 50-100 miles away will incur a reduction.
The unit has 32 beds, and patients will have telemetry only if ordered.
Telemetry is monitored around the clock.
IV drips include Dopamine at a constant rate and no titration, exclusively for renal perfusion.
Heparin is administered as needed.
The patient population consists of stable ventilator patients and Bipap patients.
There is a focus on renal patients, including those with acute and chronic renal failure and those requiring dialysis.
Medical and surgical patients will be treated.
Primary service providers include internal medicine physicians, family practice, and hospitalists.
Cancellation Policy:
The client may cancel up to 2 shifts per assignment of less than 13 weeks without penalty.
For assignments of 13 weeks or longer, the client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty.
Charting System:
The charting system used is Cerner.
