Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week, Including Every Other Weekend
We are seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a general Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) unit in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. The ideal candidates will have recent Med-Surg experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to care for primarily adult patients, with occasional pediatric patients.
The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, patient-centered care.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess patients' conditions and identify their nursing care needs.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report significant changes.
Provide nursing care to primarily adult patients and occasional pediatric patients.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Address patients' physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs.
Follow infection-control procedures, patient safety protocols, and clinical standards.
Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional nursing standards.
