Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care.
The unit has 28 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5-6.
Common patient diagnoses include Cardiology, Surgical Oncology, Urology, and Complex General Medical Surgical patients.
RNs must be able to read basic strips and utilize telemonitoring with centralized monitoring techs on-site.
Shifts are 12 hours, with a self-scheduling option based on unit balancing needs.
Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required.
There are no call or standby requirements for this position.
Navy blue scrubs are the required dress code.
The cancellation policy allows for the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment.
The charting system used is EPIC.
