Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in a Medical/Surgical setting
Perform excellent patient assessments and communicate findings clearly and accurately
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation using computer systems
Function independently while managing a Medical/Surgical patient caseload
Act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations as they arise
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and uphold the organization's mission, vision, and values
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine or compact eligibility
Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to function independently and prioritize care effectively
Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in emergency situations
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience working night shift in a Medical/Surgical unit
Familiarity with Maine State nursing standards and practices
