This opportunity involves working within a transitional care unit at a hospital known for its Level 1 Trauma designation and specialized centers for chest pain and stroke. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of MedSurg experience to this dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Provide comprehensive care for patients with general and transitional MedSurg needs
- Manage patient transitions and treatments including CHF, COPD, and GI issues
- Conduct cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitor bedside telemetry
- Perform skilled tasks such as IV starts, wound care, and central line blood draws
- Administer non-titrating drips like Heparin and Lasix
Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Minimum 2 years of MedSurg experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in trachs, chest tubes, and central line blood draws
