Unit accepts first-time travelers. Weekends required. Floating required within the scope. Daily patient ratios are 6 for days, nights, and weekends. Orientation hours are incorporated into the schedule. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The daily census is approximately 24 patients with a total of 30 beds. Interdisciplinary support team includes various services such as respiratory and pharmacy. Travelers will float to similar units as needed based on facility requirements. Travelers will receive a brief orientation on the unit. Modules are completed onsite during the orientation process.
