Must-Have: - PICC line management and experience with starting IVs is required. - Must be willing to take trach and laryngectomy patients. - Must be willing to accept a patient ratio of up to 1:7 if needed. Description: Position for Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. The shift is three 12-hour days from 06:45 to 19:15. Will work every other weekend. If requested time off falls on a weekend, the traveler will be scheduled per rotation and will work an additional weekend to make up for time away. Cerner experience is preferred. The facility is an Acute Care Client and a Level I trauma center. Travelers are required to float as needed within the facility. Interdisciplinary support is available. Daily caseload may include various patient diagnoses. Special procedures may involve dressing changes, drain removals, and central line dressing changes. Candidates should have skills in blood product administration, colostomy/ileostomy management, and wound care. The hospital consists of 562 staffed beds and practices strict module deadlines for compliance requirements.
