Key Responsibilities
Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
Provide nursing care to Med Surg and/or Oncology patients in a high-acuity inpatient setting
Administer drips including Heparin, PCA, and epidural; administer chemotherapy if certified
Accurately document patient care and assessments using EPIC EMR
May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Required Qualifications
Active Iowa RN license (or compact license accepted where applicable)
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg and/or Oncology nursing experience
BLS certification (required)
ACLS certification - AHA (required)
NIHSS certification required (may be obtained during onboarding)
Valid Driver's License required
Must have a taxable address located at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience
High-acuity care experience
Chemotherapy administration certification
