Schedule / Job TypeContract | Rotating Shift (3×12 Day/Night Rotation - 4 weeks of each) or Straight Nights | Every Other Holiday, Every Other Weekend
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical surgical nursing care to ED boarding patients throughout the emergency department
- Manage and monitor boarded patients awaiting inpatient placement in a fast-paced ED environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
- Adapt to rotating day and night shift schedules as assigned
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts or compact eligibility
- Medical Surgical nursing background required
- Experience supporting ED boarding or emergency department patient populations
- Ability to work rotating day/night shifts or straight nights as scheduled
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with high-volume, academic, or large hospital settings
- Strong adaptability and ability to function independently in a dynamic environment
