It is one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. This department is the only Level I trauma hospital in the area. Responsible for treating a diverse patient population with a wide variety of diagnoses. Nurses will only be responsible for the care of med/surg boarder patients within the emergency department. The patient ratio is 1:5 with assistive personnel available. No emergency department experience is required. Candidates must hold a valid Client RN License. Two years of Med/Surg experience is required. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are necessary. Telemetry experience is also required.
