- 28-bed medical-surgical unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Comprehensive unit support including Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, and Case Management
- Meditech documentation system with focus on patient communication excellence
- Diverse patient population including respiratory diseases, renal disease, gastrointestinal conditions, and telemetry monitoring
- Experience with central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips
- Floating rotation shared equitably with permanent staff
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Current BLS certification required
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with respiratory diseases, renal conditions, and GI illnesses highly valued
- Background in oncology and general surgery patient care is a plus
- Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills essential
- Navy blue scrubs required
