Description:
This position operates primarily in a surgical department with some medical overlap based on bed availability to meet patient needs.
Agency staffing is generally scheduled for every other weekend, and holiday requests will be discussed with management.
The unit consists of 35 private patient rooms and two nursing stations.
There is a shift supervisor on duty, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 during night shifts.
Patient care technicians are available for each shift to support nursing staff.
Candidates should have experience in various medical and surgical units and be comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
