Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care medical/surgical experience License: KS or Multistate license Certifications: AHA BLS required Must-Have: - Immunity status for Hep B, MMR, & Varicella or proof of completed vaccination series. - TDaP vaccine and Influenza vaccine or exemption request during flu season. - TB documentation. Description: This position involves working on a 32-bed unit that provides care for general medical patients. Patients may present with a broad range of diagnoses, including respiratory, gastrointestinal, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as those requiring dialysis, sepsis management, and treatment for various infections. Staffing ratios are 1:6. Weekend rotation is required every other weekend. Registered Nurses are expected to engage actively in the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care through clinical expertise and teamwork. All required certifications and licensure must be current and valid. Visible tattoos are permitted if they are not offensive or inappropriate for a professional setting.
