Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48-hour weekly guarantee; 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule; participation in holiday rotation; flexible scheduling options

  • 30-bed Medical-Surgical unit with 1:6 patient ratio
  • Collaborative team environment including Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, Patient Care Technicians, and Case Management support
  • Electronic medical record system: Meditech documentation
  • Diverse case mix including respiratory diseases, renal disease, gastrointestinal conditions, telemetry monitoring, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips
  • Equitable floating policy integrated with staff rotation

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Tennessee (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Medical-Surgical nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with respiratory diseases, renal conditions, GI illnesses, telemetry, CVCs, and medication infusions
  • Demonstrated teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills
