Schedule: Day or Night Shift available; 1:6 patient ratio; 36-bed Medical-Surgical unit
Highlights:- Work in a high-performing 36-bed Medical-Surgical unit with 55+ dedicated healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with a structured team including clinical coordinators, registered nurses, techs, and unit support staff
- Utilize Meditech EMR system with Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCD equipment
- Focus on post-operative patient care including wound management, dressing changes, and drain maintenance
- Join a unit recognized for top patient experience scores measured through HCAHPS
- Professional dress code: Navy Blue or White scrubs
Requirements:- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or compact state license
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Experience with post-operative patients (preferred)
- Competency with dressing changes, wound care, and drain management (preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong critical thinking skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong patient advocacy skills
