Description:
This position is for a nursing role in a nephrology unit.
The facility operates as a level III trauma center with various healthcare services.
The total bed count is 198, catering to a diverse patient population.
The nursing staff provides care primarily for geriatric and adult patients.
Common diagnoses include End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Peritoneal Dialysis, and Hemodialysis.
Patient-to-nurse ratios are maintained between 1:4 and 1:6.
Key equipment used includes vital signs machines, bladder scanners, lifts, thermal imaging, and IV pumps/tubes.
Electronic Health Records (EHR) system utilized is Cerner.
This role includes opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environment.
All staff are expected to work at least 2 weekend shifts per month.
Observation unit experience is a plus but not mandatory.
