Description:
As a Float Nurse, you will care for long-term residents in a nursing facility.
Your duties will include medication administration and using EMR systems.
You will assess resident health problems and develop and implement nursing care plans.
Monitoring resident progress and responding to changes in condition will be key responsibilities.
You should provide support in specialized areas such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, substance use disorder, and pain management.
Familiarity with some IV skills, IV medications, tube feedings, and light wound care is preferred.
Your ability to work effectively in a medical office environment will be essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be critical for this role.
