Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,109 per week in Akron, OH

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration evaluations
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency and module requirements as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license - must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Active AHA BLS certification - must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification - must be in hand at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location preferred, though not required

• Prior travel nursing experience within a large health system environment
