Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Float within scope of practice as needed across applicable units
Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling requirement
Adhere to facility scheduling structure; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of current experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry required
Active Kentucky state license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission - no exceptions
AHA BLS certification required
AHA ACLS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Flu vaccine required; declinations are not accepted - medical and religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis
Must be willing and able to accept the alternating 3×12 / 4×12 two-week scheduling structure
Must work either a major or minor holiday each holiday period
Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Meditech EMR system
Comfort with floating across units within scope of practice
Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
