Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care on a Med/Surg and Orthopedic unit serving geriatric, adult, and pediatric populations (ages 13 and older)
- Care for patients with post-operative orthopedic, bariatric, and GI diagnoses, as well as trauma presentations
- Maintain patient ratios of 4-6:1 across a 23-bed unit, upholding quality and safety standards
- Document accurately and efficiently using the Meditech EHR system
- Float to other units as needed in support of staffing requirements
- Work every third weekend as part of the expected schedule; no on-call requirements
Required Qualifications- Active RN licensure (ASN or higher) valid in the State of Tennessee
- Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Must be cleared through the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement
Preferred Experience / Skills- Strong clinical assessment skills in orthopedic, post-operative, or Med/Surg settings
- Experience with geriatric, adult, and adolescent patient populations
- Familiarity with Meditech or comparable EHR platforms
