Responsible for cardiac monitoring, administering cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips every four hours.

Clinician to patient ratio is up to 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 at night. Caring for patients in various conditions, including ED border patients and those in acute mental health. Units range from 8 to 41 beds. Rotation requirements may include shifts from days/evenings to nights. Charting is done using an electronic medical record system.
