Description:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our medical surgical specialty.
The position is a 13-week assignment on the night shift.
The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:5.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
The role includes caring for patients with cuffed/cuffless tracheostomies, total laryngectomies, carotid blowout precautions, and free flap patients.
Candidates should be proficient in telemetry and capable of providing wound care.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring flaps post-operatively and managing surgical drains.
Patients will range in age with a daily census averaging 18.
