Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
- Administer medications and treatments; monitor side-effects and effectiveness
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- RN License in state of TX or compact
- BLS required (AHA only)
- ACLS required (AHA only)
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
