Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Provide care to patients with common diagnoses such as stroke and respiratory illnesses
- Manage patient ratios typically ranging from 1:5-6, up to 1:7-8 during surge staffing
- Administer non-titrating cardiac drips and perform wound care
- Execute tasks like central line management and PIV starts
- Collaborate with CNAs and utilize technology such as Epic EMR
Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and provide basic Med/Tele skillset
