Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Deliver specialized care for patients with chest pain, syncope, and angina.
- Manage cardiac rhythm interpretation and stroke experience requirements.
- Perform trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, and NGT placement.
- Handle drain/tube management including Dobhoff, PEG tubes, and various drains.
- Administer medication gtt management such as cardiac drips, Heparin, and blood products.
- Float across different units to support staffing demands and patient care needs.
Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience.
- Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC) and IV pumps (Alaris).
