Key Responsibilities of the Travel RN - Med Surg- Provide care for patients with chronic diseases, CHF specialty area, mental health, and addiction services
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titrating cardiac drips
- Perform wound care and dressing changes
- Initiate IVs and administer blood products
- Adapt to various patient care needs and demonstrate clinical flexibility
- Participate in teamwork-driven culture within the department
Requirements of the Travel RN - Med Surg- 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
