Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Manage patient care for medical overflow and surgical patients
- Provide care for conditions such as CHF, COPD, chest pain, stroke symptoms, and respiratory issues
- Administer medications, including cardiac drips and IV management
- Assist with diagnostic testing and initial cardiac workup
- Float to various units as needed within the facility
Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
- Experience with stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and trach care
