Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with various conditions, including end-stage renal disease and diabetes
- Manage patient care in a telemetry setting with responsibility for medication drips and other advanced skill sets
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including CNAs, phlebotomists, and intensivists, to deliver optimal care
- Adhere to hospital protocols, ensuring compliance with standards and patient safety guidelines
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
- General Med/Tele skillset including stroke experience and cardiac rhythm interpretation
