Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in MedSurg/Tele for a travel assignment in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on providing exceptional patient care in a teaching hospital environment, specifically within MedSurg/Tele units. Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Provide care for patients undergoing complex GI surgeries, trauma overflow, and other medical conditions
- Manage a caseload of patients with ratios from 1:4-6, adjusting as needed during surge staffing
- Utilize skills in basic cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, chest tube management, and more
- Administer medication drips, including heparin, blood products, and cardiac drips
- Engage with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, phlebotomy, and intensivists
Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
- Experience with Alaris IV Pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing systems
