Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Orthopedic / Neurology unit
Manage a patient assignment of 6-8 patients per shift
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for ortho and neuro patient populations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or a compact state license
Current BLS certification required
Ability to work night shifts as scheduled
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an orthopedic or neurology nursing setting
Familiarity with post-surgical patient care and neuro assessment protocols
Experience managing higher patient ratios in an acute care environment
