Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 22-bed post-surgical unit
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:4-5 in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Monitor and assess post-operative patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work night shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a medical-surgical or post-surgical nursing setting
- Familiarity with post-operative patient monitoring and care protocols
- Experience managing a 1:4-5 patient ratio in an acute care environment
