Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage required (approximately 39 weekend shifts per contract). Patient ratio of 1:6 across all shifts. 12 hours of orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical floor with integrated telemetry monitoring capabilities, including both on-unit and remote monitoring
• 24-bed daily census in a 36-bed unit with 19 patient rooms
• Diverse case mix including cardiac drip management (no titration), cerebrovascular accident care, renal failure, and complex medical-surgical patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Phlebotomy
• Meditech charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred; minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, feeding tube care and management, continuous bladder irrigation, accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, PICC line management, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, and IV starts/maintenance
• Experience with cardiac drips (no titration required), CVA patients, PCA pumps, wound care/wound vac, and isolation precautions
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• Completion of lab work within 72 hours of contract signing
