The nurse will be floating between units as needed. Weekends may be required, with a minimum of every other weekend. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. The expected patient ratio is between 6 to 8 patients per nurse. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle a diverse patient population. An orientation period is included in the role, allowing for a smooth transition into the unit. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays each year. References are required covering the prior year of experience. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront during the application process. Inflexibility in scheduling may lead to contract termination. No on-call shifts are required for this position. The facility does not accept certain background check hits.
