Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic unit during night shift hours
- Serve in a Charge RN capacity, overseeing unit operations and supporting nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care activities, assignments, and workflow throughout the shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Orthopedic nursing experience required
- Prior Charge RN or leadership experience
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in an acute care or surgical orthopedic setting
- Familiarity with post-operative orthopedic patient management
- Strong communication and team leadership skills in a fast-paced environment
