Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Meet expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies
- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocol; monitor side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- RN License in state of TX or compact
