Description:
The unit consists of 36 beds and is staffed by 55 employees.
The day shift includes 1 clinical coordinator, 6 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary.
The night shift includes 1 clinical coordinator, 6 RNs, and 2 techs.
The patient ratio is 1:6.
Equipment used includes Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs.
The EMR system utilized is Meditech.
The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude.
The candidate should be a strong patient advocate.
The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Dress code includes navy blue and white scrubs.
Hoodies, pullovers, and t-shirts are not permitted.
The unit has received top patient experience scores, as measured through patient surveys.
