Description:
This position involves providing care in a medical-surgical unit with a total of 30 beds.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6.
Staffing includes clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and case management professionals.
The unit is equipped with walkers, IV pumps, SCDs, and other necessary equipment.
Documentation is completed using an electronic health record system.
Work scheduling requires the completion of 4 weekend shifts within a 28-day period and includes participation in holiday rotation.
Floating to other units may be required according to staff rotation policies.
Patient experience goals must be met, targeting a satisfaction percentage of 72%.
Candidates should have experience in managing various respiratory diseases, renal diseases, GI illnesses, tele monitoring, intravenous lines, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips.
Dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
