Candidates must have great communication skills. Description: The unit has a capacity of 30 beds, with the potential to increase to 36. The staff team consists of 45 employees, including 1 clinical coordinator and 5 RNs on the day shift, along with 2 techs and 1 unit secretary. During night shifts, there are 5 RNs and 2 techs. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:5 or 1:6. Equipment used includes Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs. The electronic medical records system utilized is Meditech. Typical procedures performed on this unit include post-operative orthopedic and spine surgical care, as well as care for podiatry patients. The best personality fit is a team player with a positive attitude and strong patient advocacy skills. The dress code requires navy blue and white scrubs, and hoodies, pull-overs, and t-shirts are not permitted.
