Description:
Strict 75-mile radius from the address on the traveler's driver's license to the facility.

A minimum of 1 year experience is required.
The unit has 44 beds and 40 staff.
Patient ratios are 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights.
Experience with the EMR system is preferred, but not required.
Nurse aides are available; the ratio for CNAs is typically 1:8 or 1:10, with sitters provided.
Shifts are scheduled from 6:45 PM to 7:15 PM for all 12 hours.
Weekends will be required every other weekend.
Holidays will be required as needed.
Scrub color is Caribbean blue.
Telemetry is available, but monitored on a different unit.
Floating may occur to all acute care and cardiac units to care for medical patients or to the emergency care unit for acute care patient holds.
General orientation includes a one-week program with EMR training.
Floor-specific orientation consists of 2 days.
The facility is located in a region with a population of approximately 80,000.
Nearby cities include significant distances to larger metropolitan areas.

Cancellation policies apply within a specific timeframe.
Charting is done through the MEDITECH system.
A BSN is not required for this position.
Trauma level and care setting are for acute situations.
