Candidates must have experience in surgery and trauma. You will be responsible for a patient ratio of 5:1. The patient population will include individuals with surgical needs, gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia. Nursing Support Technicians and phlebotomists will be available on the unit. A unit secretary will be present during night shifts. An ED nurse and the admitting unit will complete a nurse handoff for patient transitions. Flexibility in scheduling is required as there are no block schedules.
