Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Trauma – Georgia
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Assigned shifts based on facility needs; block scheduling not available. Patient ratio of 5:1 with support from nursing techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries (night shift).

- High-acuity surgical trauma floor with diverse and complex patient population including surgical cases, trauma patients, and spinal cord injuries
- Supported clinical environment with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretary coverage during night shifts
- EPIC electronic medical records system utilized facility-wide
- Structured nurse handoff process between ED nurses and admitting unit for seamless patient transitions
- Opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills in a fast-paced, high-intensity trauma setting
Requirements:
- Current Georgia RN license or compact state license with ability to obtain Georgia licensure
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in surgical or trauma nursing specialty
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system required
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts; no requested time off during contract period
