Description:
Med Surg A4 Nights.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Previous charge experience preferred.
Patient ratio experience is required.
Charting system experience is needed.
Experience with community hospital settings is a plus.
Travel experience is required.
Skill requirements include accessing/managing ports, bariatric surgery, BiPAP/CPAP management, and blood product administration.
Experience with colostomy/ileostomy management and care, continuous bladder irrigation, and feeding tube care is essential.
Must manage cardiac drips without titration.
Ability to perform telemetry, wound care, and emergent response is required.
Candidate must be willing to float within the facility as needed.
Daily patient census ranges from 26 to 27 patients.
Unit supports interdisciplinary services including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Candidates should have experience with a variety of patient diagnoses and special procedures.
