Join our dynamic team on the 6W Transplant Nephrology unit, where you'll make a meaningful impact on patients' lives!
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Kansas City, MO
- **Unit Overview:**
- 20 patient beds with a ratio of 1:6
- Supportive staffing including unit secretaries and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
- Focus on Transplant Nephrology and Med/Surg care
- No floating policy for agency/contract nurses
- **Shift Details:**
- Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
- Scheduling requirements: 3 weekend shifts/month
- **Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing kidney transplants and renal treatments
- Collaborate within a dedicated team that values patient experience
- Utilize Meditech for efficient documentation and patient management
- **Qualifications:**
- Must possess an ADN
- Required certifications: BLS
- Preferred experience in Med/Surg, nephrology, kidney transplants, and dialysis
- **Unique Unit Features:**
